The other day, while crafting some ornaments with a needle and thread, Lindsay asked if she could help. At first I told her she was not old enough to use a needle (which resulted in tears). I rethought it and decided to set up a craft night where we would use the "needle and fread".
I had to walk her through each stitch, but she was patient and followed through to the end. I asked her what she was going to do with it now, when I tucked her in (give it away as a present???) "Well, right now I am sleeping with it"
